IMovie

When importing videos from your camcorder the videos will be organized by date. To find a certain point in the video select it on the left and skim through with the mouse to find it. To play video from where your mouse is just hit the space bar. To pause hit the space bar again. Viewing video in full screen is simple, just hit the view in full screen button in the bottom left corner. You can skip through all of the videos you have with the scroll bar that goes across the bottom. When you find one you want to play hit the space bar to play, then again to pause. To exit the video hit the escape key. By clicking play all, all the events will play in order as one event. To combine events drag one on top of the other. To split go to file, split event before selected clip. If you would like to rename an event double click it. Hate watching shaky videos? In imovie you can fix that by first going to file, then analyzing for stabilization.

Photo Editing

Over the course of the photo shop unit I learned how to use photo shop to its full potential. I learned how to use all of the tools such as crop, rotation, blur and many more! Below is a picture where I used the neon feature to change the color of the entire photo.

My changes to the photo after using the neon effect.

Hi

Welcome to my blog! Over the first unit in Multimedia we are going to be learning about how to edit and organize photos. You will learn how to use the welcome window, build a library, import photos from your computer, import photos from a camera and how to use a source list. The welcome page is self explanatory. It tells you how to get started and can help you if you need it. You can import photos from your camera onto your computer by plugging the camera in, or you can import photos on your computer to your blog.
